When We Were Vikings

Every so often someone asks how my novel is going, and for the past six months I’ve told them “it’s close.” And since I’ve been working on it for a very long time now, “it’s close” at this point means I hope to finish edits Summer 2017. It’s ‘done’ in the sense that from here on it’ll be edits, not rewrites.

So. Here’s a novel-selfie.

Still in process, still chugging along with the same timeline. My screenwriting partner said that it’s like the Curious Case of the Dog at Nighttime crossed with the Wire, only instead of the narrator being obsessed with Sherlock Holmes etc., she’s obsessed with Vikings. How does that sound?

Sounds very interesting… Mystery novel with savant as the protag? Lots of luck + good vibes for the edits.
